What we collect, and why

If you sign up for the newsletter, we collect the email address (and first name, if you give it) you enter. We use it only to send you the free smoothie recipes and the Heal Your Life Newsletter. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We use a double opt-in: you must confirm via a link we email you before you receive anything.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future, by clicking unsubscribe in any email or emailing us. Withdrawing does not affect processing already carried out.

Our email provider (data outside the EU)

The newsletter is run through Kit (ConvertKit, by Kit.com, Inc., USA). When you subscribe, the data you enter is processed and stored by Kit on servers in the United States. We have a data-processing agreement in place with Kit, and the transfer relies on the appropriate safeguards permitted under the GDPR (EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework). Cookies and local storage

This site keeps cookies and local storage to the minimum needed to function: the newsletter form may set functional cookies, and we store your dismissal of the privacy banner in your browser. We do not currently run advertising or analytics tracking on this page. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first.

Hosting and server logs

This site is served as static files by our hosting provider. The provider may automatically record standard server log data (such as IP address, browser type, and time of access) for security and to deliver the site. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority (in our case, the authority for Brandenburg, Germany).
